INNER-STRENGTH​

Build physical and mental strength, helping you to connect to your core/centre for enhanced stability and empowerment on and off mat.

Each class is designed to develop physical (i.e. core, back, legs, arms) and mental strength. As students progress through the course, they will cultivate awareness of their core and practise moving from their centre (core) to support their movements and enhance stability in their poses, including balances. This process not only builds physical strength but also fosters a sense of empowerment and freedom, helping students to recognise and connect to their inner-strength both on and off the mat.

CONFIDENCE

​

Progress on the mat will positively influence other areas of life, as you grow your practice and improve flexibility, posture and self-assurance.

Each class includes specific poses to cultivate confidence, such as those that open the chest and strengthen the back which improve posture and energy levels both on and off the mat. Additionally, honing poses, improving flexibility and achieving personal goals within the practice contribute to a heightened sense of self-assurance. Over 4 weeks, students can experience a notable increase in confidence and learn to appreciate their progress and achievements. This confidence can extend beyond the mat, positively influencing other areas of life, such as personal relationships, professional endeavours and social interactions.

CLARITY

Mindful movements and breath focus will help quiet distractions and relieve stress and anxiety to foster mental clarity, informed decision-making and prioritisation of intentions.

In daily life, mental noise and distractions can pull the mind in various directions and cloud the mind, judgment and decision-making. Each class includes mindful movements and breath focus to quiet the mind's chatter and to connect to the body and present moment. By focusing on the breath, movements and poses, students strengthen their ability to focus and maintain attention, contributing to mental clarity off the mat. Enhancing clarity can help students to make more informed choices and to focus on what truly matters, enabling students to prioritise intentions and aspirations. Yoga and breathing techniques also help to lower stress and anxiety levels, allowing space for clarity to grow.

CALM

Balancing your nervous system will foster a sense of calm and peace that aids in navigating daily challenges and enhances overall well-being.

Finally, the calming effects of a regular yoga practice cannot be overstated. The combination of physical activity, breath control and mindfulness techniques promotes relaxation and reduces stress. Over the course of 4 weeks, students can find themselves better equipped to deal with daily stressors and emotional upheavals. The calming nature of yoga helps to balance the nervous system, fostering a sense of calm and peace that aids in navigating challenges and enhances overall well-being.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Classes are designed with a different theme/focus each week, and include pose variations to suit all levels while providing the same benefits.​

 

Start each class with a 5-minute simple breathing exercise to calm and balance the nervous system. [A calm and balanced nervous system offers numerous benefits including: improved stress resilience, emotional regulation, enhanced focus and memory, better sleep, reduced anxiety, and enhanced immunity, digestion and metabolism.] 

​

Move with your breath and hold certain poses for a few breaths to build strength and flexibility, to release tension and stress. This practice follows the principles of Vinyasa Yoga, where movement is synchronised with the breath—typically, an upward or open movement links to an inhale and a downward or twisting movement links to an exhale.

Enjoy a small class size (maximum 10 students) for a more personalised experience.

4 x 10-minute meditations to cultivate inner-strength, confidence, clarity and calm. Each week receive a 10-minute audio recording of a guided meditation which is an optional freebie as part of the course.
